Full-time employees and their dependents have multiple plan options, both HDHP and PPO. Our insurance is currently through Medica and our base network includes M Health Fairview (includes U of M Medical Center and U of M Masonic Children’s Hospital). HealthEast Care System, North Memorial Hospital, many other independent primary care clinics, convenience clinics, online care and urgent care centers. All plans cover many preventive maintenance drugs at no cost to the insured. In addition, Medical offers a unique wellness program that includes a free wellness assessment, fitness discounts, and online tools/resources to help take steps to improve health while earning gift cards.
Our dental plan is through Delta Dental and includes up to 4 cleanings per year, no waiting periods, and preventative and diagnostic care do not apply against annual maximums.
All employees receive a complimentary $10,000 Life/AD&D insurance policy. As part of this benefit, employees also receive emergency travel assistance and identity theft protection at no charge. Employees may choose to buy additional Life/AD&D coverage for themselves and their dependents for an additional cost.
We do a dollar-for-dollar match on any contribution you make up to $350 annually. Employees choosing an HSA medical plan receive a debit card to make it easier to pay for qualified medial purchases.
All employees and their family members that are enrolled in the Medica benefit plan will receive assistance through the Medica Optum Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Whether it’s a personal, financial, or legal concern, the EAP is there to help you to find answers and resources to tackle the tough issues you and your family face.
LEGAL & ID SHIELD
We have partnered with Legal/ID Shield to offer voluntary legal aid and identify theft protection benefits. Legal Shield provides access to attorneys that can advise on a wide variety of issues. ID Shield provides extensive identity monitoring and full-service identity restoration.
SHORT TERM DISABILITY
All employees receive complimentary short-term disability insurance. Short-term disability provides income replacement benefits if you are unable to work due to an injury, sickness, or pregnancy that results in your continuous disability for up to 11 weeks.
We offer a 401k program, along with a company match.
TOOL ALLOWANCE MECHANICS AND WELDERS
We cover half the cost of a new pair of steel toe boots. We will also cover a portion of any tools for mechanics.
In addition to paid personal time off, employees are eligible to receive pay for 6 holidays a year.
