Customer agrees to have Walters Recycling and Refuse provide waste and or recycling services, unless I move, for the term of this agreement which is 2 years or 24 months. I understand that during this term my base rate will remain the same with no price increases unless costs outside of our control such as disposal fees, or tax increases are incurred. I understand that I have the right to cancel this agreement in writing at any time prior to the third business day of this signed agreement with no charges assessed to me. If I cancel service within the term of the agreement due to any reason other than unresolved or repeated service issues**, I will be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to discounts for service and account processing fees not to exceed $200.00.
Customer will pay a onetime non-refundable $25.00 fee to set up account and deliver carts. This fee will be applied as a credit towards customer’s first invoice but will not be refunded if customer cancels services outside of the 3-day grace period defined in the Notice of Cancellation of this Service Agreement section below.
By providing a phone number(s) and or email address, customer hereby authorizes seller to communicate with customer via automated means or otherwise, regarding any changes in service, billing, or special promotions offered. Walters Recycling and Refuse will never sell or share any of your personal information to any outside companies.
Late Fees and Other Charges
Past due accounts may be subject to suspension in service. Late payments will be subject to a finance charge of 1.5% or a minimum of $.50. Returned payments including rejected ACH payments, will be subject to a $30.00 processing fee. Seller will make effort to contact customer regarding any late or past due monies, but customer is ultimately responsible to follow credit terms and updating forms of payment for automatic payments up to and including updating expiration dates. If your account has been suspended due to non-payment, payment in full must be received in order to resume service. Service will resume on your next scheduled pick-up day. If account falls 60 days past due, account will be placed on credit hold, service will be suspended, and customer will be required to pay monies owed plus an additional six months of service in advance before service will be reinstated. Customers not bringing their account current after 60 days are also subject to account being sent to collections. Customer is liable for all legal and collections fees.
Waste Material and Restrictions:
Customer agrees to not dispose of any of the non-acceptable materials listed below including any hazardous waste or hazardous substance as those terms are defined in any local, state or federal law, regulation and ordinance applicable to the Premises, and petroleum, including crude oil or any impermissible fraction thereof. Title to and liability for restricted waste shall always remain with Customer. Customer agrees to comply with all laws, rules, and regulations of all federal, state, municipal, or other government authorities who now or hereafter affect or apply to the Services of Customer hereunder.

This agreement may be terminated by either party for any reason at any time, but customer remains subject to the terms and conditions as they are expressed in this agreement.
Notice of Cancellation of this Service Agreement
If you do not want the services described in this Residential Service Acknowledgement, you may cancel your purchase by mailing, emailing, or telephoning a cancellation notice to Walters Recycling and Refuse at 2830 -101st Avenue NE, Blaine, MN 55449 (763)780-8464 or firstname.lastname@example.org no later than midnight of the third business day after the date on which the sale occurred. If you cancel, any payments made by you under the service acknowledgement, any property traded in, and any instrument executed by you will be returned within 10 business days following receipt by seller of your cancellation notice, and any security interest arising out of the transaction will be cancelled.
If you cancel, you must make available to the seller at your residence, in substantially as good of condition as when received, any goods delivered to you under this contract or sale, or you may, if you wish, comply with the written instruction of the seller regarding the return shipment of the goods at the seller’s expense and risk. If the seller does not pick up the goods within 20 days of the date of your notice of cancellation of this service acknowledgement, you may retain or dispose of them without any further obligation.
Services are prepaid quarterly, any prepaid monies for services to seller will not be reimbursed if customer changes services within the quarterly billing cycle and will be forfeited.
All cancellations must be received 30 days prior to the final pick up by the customer by calling us at (763)780-8464. For your protection, 3rd party cancellations will not be accepted.
**Beyond the Curb Service Guarantee
If at any time you are dissatisfied with the services provided by Walters Recycling and Refuse, you may discontinue the service without cost or obligation to you; provided however, you have notified us via phone or in writing and given Walters Recycling the opportunity (at least 7 days) to correct the situation. We believe that our Beyond the Curb Service stands for itself and apologize in advance for any inconvenience that may be caused. Walters Recycling and Refuse looks forward to solving the challenge and keeping you as a valuable and loyal client. If you are still dissatisfied, then we will honor your request to discontinue with our services.
