This is the best company in this service sector. Not the cheapest, just all around the best. As a customer you always get a live/local staff member to answer your question. No holding for 20-30 minutes only to get an answering agency with a staff member who is not fluent in English. I love the email reminders regarding pick up. Thumbs up.

Was able to start service online easily. I was given a discount for being referred by a friend, which was nice. And when I needed the bins from the previous owner’s picked up, I just emailed and it was taken care of on the next garbage day. So far, great service.

Just started with Walters and so far very happy with them. Prices are comparable with other haulers for residential trash but they beat the service I did have when it comes to yard waste by a mile. Better than twice the amount allowed for basically the same price and, somebody over there has some serious smarts, they give you an extra container for the same price. Saves time and effort for their employees (they don't have to get out of the truck to pickup bags) and saves me time and money (don't have to buy bags or fill them which is somewhat more difficult than filling a container). Got my neighbor to go with them as well for the same reasons. Would recommend them to anyone looking for this type of service.

Have had Walters for 7 years now and have never had a pick up issue! They have been nothing but quality service every week. Have only had 1 billing question/issue during this time as well (regarding the significant increase in price others have mentioned),emailed their customer service, and they responded within an hour going above and beyond. Hard to see myself ever leaving Walters if they keep up the great work.

UPDATE: Walter's called and offered me a great deal on the next two years of service, along with dropping yard waste $45 this year, so I decided to stick with them as I appreciate their willingness to work with me.I've been using Walter's for almost 8 years. My invoice over the past year has gone up two different times (each at the 6 month mark). I'm paying about $50 more each bill for the same service. This is NOT fuel charges, these are charges to the bins (which is a rip off). And $265 for 6 months of yard waste is insane. I will be cancelling my service unless they decide to keep bin fees fixed and only adjust the costs for taxes and fuel since those amounts fluctuate.Another negative, my christmas tree sat on my curb for 3 weeks, I had to call for them to pick it up...and it's part of the our service.

I have been working for Caring Transitions for about 3 years. We do a ton of disposal runs at Water's and the team there is absolutely amazing! The recycling driver went beyond the curb for me today and I am so appreciative. The wind kept knocking down the bin so I shoved the cardboard in so it wouldn’t blow away. When he came, it got stuck, it didn’t come out of the bin, and he drove away. He then came back 5 minutes later, got out, and made sure the recycling came out of the bin. That’s so awesome. I watched the whole thing from my kitchen window. I hope that guy gets the karma he deserves. I like Walter’s. They are local, too.

This is a company that delivers what they promised. Every week they pick up Trash - Recycling and Yard waste. They may have raised their price some, but everything in life right now is more expensive then last year. Had a significant increase in my bill, and a not so great experience when I called. I spoke with Ben, he helped me get that lowered below the rate I've been at for the past year, locked me in for that rate for the next year, and helped me get set up for yard waste for the spring. UPDATE 12/27/24: WOW! Walters just called. They asked about my review below and asked how to keep me as a customer. I'm highly impressed with this and will be staying with their service which I have always been satisfied. Thank you for being committed to your customers and we are to you!My neighbors and I switched to Walters many years ago. They've always provided good service.However, in 2024, my bill has steadily increased by over 50%. I called and asked them about it but they had no explanation for the large increase.I hate to switch companies but this much of an increase is beyond reasonable.

We have been with Walter's for a long time! Over 15 years now. They are a great company to deal with and pick up our trash, recycle and yard waste.Earlier this year we signed up again for their yard waste and noticed there was a significant decrease in the number of yard waste bags they would pick up from 10 to four. We have three ash trees and get a TON of leaves not only from our trees, but from some of our neighbors as well.When I called to ask about the change in policy I was quickly offered an extra can at no additional charge. I was told we were still able to put out four bags. This helped us a lot!We had issues with their yard waste service last year as far as pick up not being done on our scheduled day. This happened several times. This year was absolutely perfect!No issues with any pick ups, which is how it normally is.Anytime I have called to talk with a staff member they have always been polite, courteous and helpful. They have a great crew from the drivers, the office staff and the employees at the public drop-off site.I would highly recommend this company for all of your trash, recycle and yard waste needs.

I live in maple grove I've been here 6 yrs I started with curbside and my bill kept going up so I went on a hunt for a new trash company Walter's was the cheapest we pay yearly it's like 372 our bill never gets raised there clean respectful and don't come late they come around 10 which works cause I have enough time to get home from am route and get garbage out definitely recommend them I'm in a group for our area and I can tell you the seniors love them to and it's cheaper for them

The customer service people are extremely professional and you can really tell they're treated well and they actually "love" their jobs. I had trash that was stuck in my garbage container that wouldn't come out. The driver lowered the container and removed the trash which was stuck by hand. The container was completely empty after his efforts. Thanks Walter's Recycling and Refuse. I am on 104th Way in Blaine International Village.
