Recycling Services (Residential)

Find out if Walters Recycling provides Single Sort recycling services in your city here. We appreciate your commitment to recycling! Recycling Service is provided every other week on your scheduled garbage collection day. If you need an extra recycling cart please call our office (763) 780-8464 to make arrangements.

Always recycle your items loose in the cart!  Please do not use a plastic bag to collect your recyclables (paper bags are acceptable).

Recycle right - recycle smart. Recycling Tips:

  • Empty and rinse all recyclables.
  • Caps on if you can.
  • Flatten Cardboard.
  • Do not crush bottles or cans – leave them in their original shape.
  • When in doubt – toss it out!

Incorrect Battery Disposal Can Cause Fires

Common household items seem harmless, however, the batteries in them pose risks when disposed into regular garbage or recycling containers
because of their highly flammable nature.

Remove the batteries
Check the electronic devices you need to dispose of. If possible, remove the batteries. If not, bring the whole device to the drop off location.

Store batteries in a safe place

Store batteries in non-metallic containers (plastic, cardboard, or glass) that do not conduct electricity if there is a spark.

Find your local drop off
Find a local electronic disposal store, or find a drop off location near you.
